Ms in the Classroom | Welcome

Teaching Ms. in the Classroom is a great way to provide students with current examples of how research and theory in women’s studies inform policy and practice.

It’s available in two forms, so you can pick the one that’s right for your classroom.

MS. IN THE CLASSROOM ONLINE EDITION

Ms. in the Classroom Online is ideal for long-distance learning, as well as an affordable supplement for women’s studies classes. It’s simple—professors tell us they want to participate and put Ms. on their syllabus. Once a professor has registered her/his class, their students are eligible to sign-up and access the 3 most recent issues of Ms. in full-color, digital format—exactly as they look in print—for $15 a special offer for Spring 2010. Students will then be able to view the brand-new issue of Ms. electronically during the semester/quarter the instant it comes out. Thus, students have access to a full-year of the 4 most recent issues of Ms. magazine during the term. Professors can access all of the Ms. issues for free, plus a new Instructors' Guide developed in coordination with leading feminist scholars. Register for Ms. in the Classroom Online today!

MS. IN THE CLASSROOM PRINT EDITION

To sign up, professors just put Ms. on their syllabus and notify the campus bookstore using this easy form. Students can then pick up a Ms. in the Classroom pak of the 3 most recent issues directly from the bookstore for a low rate of $25. Inside the pak is a coupon that students fill out to receive the 4th issue, mailed directly to them when it is published during the semester. Thus, students receive a full-year of the 4 most current issues of Ms. magazine during the term. Professors receive the same four issues for free, plus a new Instructors' Guide developed in coordination with leading feminist scholars. Order Ms. in the Classroom through your bookstore today!
