6 Ways You Can Stand With Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood provides critical health services—such as cancer screenings and STI testing—to 2.7 million women and men every year. But anti-choice lawmakers are wrongly claiming that Planned Parenthood mostly provides abortions (in fact, abortions account for just 3 percent of all the health services Planned Parenthood provides) and they’re fighting to strip the organization of its funding.

That’s why September 29 has been declared #PinkOut day—a national day of action to support Planned Parenthood and the health care it provides.

Below, discover six ways you can #StandWithPP today!

1. Sign our petition urging Congress to stand with Planned Parenthood.

We’re asking members of Congress to say no to defunding Planned Parenthood, and instead support legislation that expands access to much-need women’s health care. Sign the petition here!

2. #PinkOut your social media profile pics.

Change your Facebook and Twitter pictures using this tool or swap them out with the graphic at the top of this post.

3. Wear pink on September 29.

Wear your support on your sleeve—literally. Don your pinkest getup and tell the world you #StandWithPP!

4. Attend a rally in your community.
