Everywhere: Tomorrow is International Women’s Day. It’s customary in many countries to give flowers to the women in your life. Attend events around the world and stay tuned for Ms. International Women’s Day posts from every continent. March 8

Participate in Feminist Coming Out Day to raise awareness about gender equality and come out as a feminist! Check out events all around the country or submit a “This is What a Feminist Looks Like” portrait. March 8

March 10 is the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers. Abortion providers need support more than ever: You can support besieged abortion providers in Wichita, Kansas by joining the Feminist Majority Foundation’s petition drive.

National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day: Take action by attending an event near you to support the fight against HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of its impact on women and girls. March 10

New York: Women’s eNews will celebrate International Women’s Day with a special event commemorating the centennial of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire and the role of women in the union movement. March 8, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Hunter College

Women in The World: Stories and Solutions is a three day summit sponsored by The Daily Beast and Newsweek that addresses issues facing women worldwide. And the lineup is amazing–Madeleine K. Albright, Christiane Amanpour, Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Arianna Huffington and Meryl Streep for starters. The depths of my love for Meryl Streep are fathomless. March 10-12

San Francisco: Join the International Museum of Women in their celebration of International Women’s Day with their “Celebrating Change: Art Live Lounge” benefit. March 10, 8 p.m.

Los Angeles: Appreciate abortion providers with the Planned Parenthood Food Fare. Admission lets you enjoy tastes, sips and shopping from over 150 Los Angeles restaurants, caterers, wineries, florists and vendors. There’s even a silent auction. The Food Fare benefits Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. March 10
