New York’s Shield Law Will Protect Clinicians Mailing Abortion Pills to Patients in Red States
On Friday, June 23—the eve of the Dobbs decision anniversary—New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed legislation into law that ensures healthcare providers in the state are able to provide telehealth services to patients outside of New York without fear of litigation in states where abortion services are outlawed or restricted.
