Mariah Hanson had a knack for throwing parties in college. Now, throwing one of the largest LGBTQ+ parties of the year is her career. In 1991, she created “The Dinah,” an LGBTQ+-friendly music festival weekend in Palm Springs, California. She recently talked with Ms. about her background, inclusivity at the festival and her goals for The Dinah.
