Sheila Weller is the author of seven books, most recently The News Sorority (about Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer and Christiane Amanpour) and perhaps most famously Girls Like Us (about Joni Mitchell, Carole King and Carly Simon). As a magazine writer, she's been an active contributor to Vanity Fair and Glamour for more than a decade, and wrote for Ms. magazine for a number of years, beginning in the 1970s.
