Wendy Cox has been fortunate to make her living in film and commercial production. A graduate of Penn State University, she has worked in film production with New Line Cinema, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Sony/Screen Gems, Disney and Media Rights Capital, among many other production companies, and for five years, she led the historical re-creation team at History Making Productions, producing "Philadelphia: The Great Experiment," "Urban Trinity," "Before Hollywood" and the upcoming "Beethoven in Beijing." For her directorial debut, "Sisters in Freedom," Cox crafted a dynamic visual treatment blending historical and contemporary narrative approaches, bringing the women featured in this remarkable story of courage out of the historical shadows.
