Katie Wall is an Assistant Professor of Outdoor Recreation Management at Lees-McRae College in Western North Carolina. She is currently finishing her doctorate at Appalachian State University in Educational Leadership and is working on her dissertation, a feminist critique of the outdoor industry. In her free time, she teaches wilderness medicine and leave no trace outdoor ethics courses for NOLS Wilderness Medicine and Landmark Learning.
