New York: A preview of the new documentary by Joanna Lipper, The Supreme Price, will feature excerpts from the film, which follows activist Hafsat Abiola as she leads the pro-democracy movement in Nigeria’s 2011 elections. Toronto: The monthly Mother Outlaws’ Speaker Series of the Motherhood Initiative for Research and Community Involvement takes up maternal activism in the 21st century with presentations from Veronika Novoselova, Andrea O’ Reilly, Linn Baran and many more.
