Valerie Percival is an Assistant Professor of International Affairs at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University. She studied at the University of Toronto, Carleton University and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and previously worked at the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, the International Crisis Group, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Peace Research Institute Oslo.
