Terms of Use

Upon submitting Material for posting to the Ms. Blog or MsMagazine.com, the Author hereby grants Ms. the following non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual worldwide rights to use, print, reproduce, publish, transmit, license, distribute and otherwise exploit the Material in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in all languages, for the entire duration of Author’s copyright and any renewals or extensions thereof, pursuant to the Copyright Act of 1976,17 U.S.C. Sec. 101 et seq., as may be amended from time to time, including, without limitation, as follows:

a. on any website created, maintained or sponsored by Ms., its affiliates or licensees, and in publicity, promotion and advertising in connection therewith; and the right to use the Author’s  name, likeness and biography in connection with the publication, publicity, promotion and advertisement of the Material;

b. for educational or charitable purposes

c. on microfilm, microfiche, and other now known or hereafter devised forms of transmission and electronic and/or digital media and storage created, maintained, and/or sponsored by Ms., its affiliates, or licensees;

d. in motion pictures, television productions, and books, including, without limitation, anthologies and similar collective works published by, in association with, or at the direction of Ms., its affiliates and/or licensees;

e. in any manner that any member of the public would be permitted to use the Material, including, without limitation, any use that would constitute a fair use under the Copyright Act of 1976.
