Her writing has appeared in High Country News, Mamalode,  ZO Magazine, Pittsburgh Quarterly and Urban Campfire. Emily is currently at work on her graduate thesis, a nonfiction piece that examines the parallels between hydraulic fracturing and domestic violence.
