Author: Pamela Winn

Pamela Winn is known as "The Face of Dignity For Incarcerated Women". She served a 78-month federal sentence for a white-collar crime while pregnant where she was shackled which caused her to fall, suffering a miscarriage then placed in solitary. This cruel unjust treatment fueled Pamela to turn her pain into power, establishing RestoreHER US.America policy advocacy nonprofit organization, spearhead the campaign to unanimously pass HB 345 Dignity For Incarcerated Women GA, and become instrumental in the historical passage of HR5682 First Step Act both banning the shackling and solitary confinement of incarcerated pregnant women.
