Loree Cook-Daniels was a youth caucus representative at the 1979 March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights and has been an LGBT advocate and educator ever since. For the past 20 years Loree has worked on trans* rights, primarily as a True Spirit Conference organizer, the founder and director of the Transgender Aging Network, and the Policy and Program Coordinator for FORGE, Inc., a national transgender/SOFFA organization headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Loree’s academic training includes women’s studies, history, conflict resolution, and trauma counseling.
