Vanuyen is proud to be a second-generation Vietnamese American and a graduate of Stanford University, where her love of hearing people’s stories and uplifting unheard narratives led her to major in History. On campus, she found a home in the Asian American community, serving as the Community Orientation Coordinator, Co-Chair of the Stanford Vietnamese Student Association, and a Diversity Outreach Associate with the undergraduate admissions office.
