Piper J. Klemm is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, researching MRI Contrast Agents in laboratory of Professor Kenneth N. Raymond. Her research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Chemical Society. She has a B.S. with Honors in Chemistry from Trinity College (Hartford, CT). She is currently a committee member of San Francisco Zoo II, a young professionals organization supporting the San Francisco Zoo. Piper enjoys teaching chemistry- from being an undergraduate mentor in lab, to being a graduate student instructor at Berkeley, and communicating chemistry to the public.
