Feel-Good Friday: Video Celebrates Women Who Run the World

Friends, this has been a truly terrible week. Between the mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., the attack on Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs and ongoing attempts in Congress to both block any form of gun control and repeal women’s access to reproductive healthcare, there’s little good news to report.

But we all need a little brightness in the dark sometimes, and this video from GoldieBlox—maker of toys that teach kids engineering skills, and are designed specifically to appeal to girls—is lifting our spirits. Featuring young YouTube stars impersonating famous feminists, with special appearances by grown-up badasses, including soccer phenom Abby Wambach and NFL coach Jen Welter, the video celebrates some of the year’s best moments for women.

Prepare to enjoy pint-sized versions of Amy Schumer, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Misty Copeland and more—and remind yourself that there’s still some good in the world.

We hope your hearts feel a little bit better.
