Author: Mia Fontaine

Mia Fontaine is an author and public speaker. Her first book, ComeBack, was a national bestseller that brought critical attention to child sexual abuse and was chosen by Target as their Winter '07 Book Club pick. Her second book explores the changing dynamic between mother and adult daughter and is based on a trip she and her mom took around the world. It examines the relationship's social, historic and cultural context and will be released by HarperCollins this Winter. A graduate of Georgetown University who has written for The New York Times, Mia is interested in anything relating to art, history, or women's rights. She was first introduced to Ms. Magazine by her mother, who only allowed her to play with Dr. Barbie - because women have careers too Mia!
