The targeted murders of six AAPI women in Atlanta has jolted every fiber of my being. I am in deep pain and I am so exhausted, but I cannot be silent and not speak out against the racist, sexist treatment that AAPI women face.
The dearth of women in political leadership positions, is not so much a problem with the pipeline, but a problem with promoting, hiring and nominating women to leadership positions at the same rates as men.
Fortunately it is a problem which can in large part be corrected by our already elected officials.

Their lives, along with customers Delaina Ashley Yaun, 33, and Paul Andre Michels, 54, deserve to be respected and remembered in their full humanity, not reduced to the fantasies of their killer.
